Lifeline is a Federal assistance program paid for by the Universal Service Fund (USF). It was created to provide affordable communications service to low income families. If you are now enrolled in a Federal or State assistance program, or have a household income that is less than 135% of the Federal Poverty Level, you'll be eligible for the Lifeline subsidy.
